What the numbers mean
Contribution before ads equals revenue minus product, delivery, fees, and expected return costs. A positive contribution is the maximum ad cost per order that leaves zero contribution afterward. The target subtracts the amount you want to retain.
Revenue ROAS equals attributed revenue divided by ad spend. Scenario contribution equals contribution per order multiplied by orders, minus ad spend. This is a simplified order-level view, not net profit or a forecast. It excludes fixed overhead, taxes, repeat purchases, cash timing, and any costs you have not included.
A dash means a ratio or positive acquisition budget cannot be calculated. Negative contribution remains visible. If customers place multiple orders, cost per order is not customer acquisition cost.
